Chemo underway
Aug. 31st, 2013 10:01 pmAnd already the question has been raised if it isn't doing more harm than good. I especially wonder with his mind starting to go again. For the most part since the infusions yesterday dad's been in bed, unable to do much, occasionally talking about things that don't entire make sense. Certainly not eating either, and there's not much hope in any case if we still can't fix that.
Sad day for the most part, really. Mom went to see the new Woody Allen movie, which turned out to be much more depressing than she should've had to deal with right now, while I stayed home and watched tennis until it was interrupted by Obama either trying to push another war on us or doing his steps in the maneuvering dance to blame Congress for things; I'm not entirely sure as to his motivations on this one. Also saw the Downtown Abbey teaser; I've never watched the series but it was something to distract my mother, who does, when she got home. In the evening we experimented with lamb, since there were two shanks in the freezer dad had bought a long time ago. We cooked it successfully, but it seemed more trouble than it was worth. Tomorrow we officially start keeping track of the house's finances, since he always did that in the past.
