When I stepped outside the conference center to head home this evening, the pavement crunched beneath my feet; we definitely got an icing. There's supposed to be more snow Sunday, but I'll believe that when I see it; they keep changing the forecast! Sunday I also have a meeting with a real estate agent, and I may feel the need to watch some of the Super Bowl preshow because it has Johnny and Tara in it, though this whole business with the ball tampering leaves me all the more less inclined to bother with the game itself. No interest in Katy Perry either.
Though movie-watching with mom has become more limited, because she now wants to boycott any cinema showing American Sniper, which would be all very well if it wasn't showing in so many places, including the local independent arthouse. Although oddly enough, it is not showing in the local AMC-owned "arthouse," though mom really does not deal well with having to sit through the AMC preshow.
Not only is the new director now in, but people are starting to come into the downstairs office area, as our last week before vacating the upstairs level draws to its end. Already the offices have become noisier and more populated, and we'll all be packed in starting next week. Also we go back to being open in the mornings next week, though this has had surprisingly little effect on my day
