So Critical Role has finally switched casts, and at quite a time to do it, too! It seems we're going to be left in suspense for a very long time about some things. (Especially if the actors do end up having to strike, which would probably result in at least a brief pause, and that's if the studios give in quickly.) But wow, was this week's episode all too enjoyable. It perhaps say everything about our trip of guest characters that friggen Deni$e is the least wacky of them! But all three of them will inevitably endear themselves to us hard. (Unless Bor'dor turns out to be lying about himself. But hells, maybe even then.) All that was lacking from them is the creation of sexy rats. (And who knows what Prism will field test next.) But even aside from that, the pain and fear and despair our trio of stranded Bells Hells is going through was tempered by Ashton's little speech. Their being able to motivate themselves feels especially important when we've no clerics in this group, and while Orym might still hear from the Wildmother, she might be too busy talking to her clerics and paladins for that.
Also, it looks like we're going to get to see some of the other parts of Issylra that we've never gotten any real look at. The third campaign is doing quite a job looking into the parts of Exandria we haven't seen before this.
