missizzyI enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding far more than I expected to. Hey, when every time you turn around another horrific news story has broken, it's nice to turn on the TV and just see a bride and groom looking at each other with stars in their eyes. And see the British upper crust get introduced to the art of the African-American sermon. And hear some nice music.
Not sure how I feel about the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale. I was just sitting and crying during the commercial break after Fitz's death, and really, when I heard they were going to go wake the frozen Fitz, I was somewhat relieved. Hell, it's kind of relieving that now the living version of Fitz and those around him will be forewarned about the split personality, and who knows, maybe he'll even get treatment. But it did feel like they were doing a character death and splitting Fitzsimmons again just because they could, and I think we're all sick of the latter at this point.
There was also the thing where we know that very shortly after the fade to black half of the characters are going to die; it's been confirmed in the interviews afterwards that the entire last few episodes occurred before Thanos snapped his fingers. But I'm going to reserve judgement on that until the next movie. That they aren't doing the next season until after it makes me suspect much less time if going to pass between the movies than is passing between their release dates. Maybe the dead won't stay dead long?
