Some time ago my mother made the mistake of speaking dismissively of the upcoming Barbie movie somewhere my sister could see. The next time she came over, she insisted we watch both the trailers that were out at the time. My mother was left outright confused and disturbed. When the new trailer came out last week, my sister email my mother the link. She didn't click on it. I'm not sure what happens if she comes over again before the movie comes out.
For my own part, I'm starting to find this movie's takeover of the internet meme scene kind of annoying. Although admittedly too many pairs of Critical Role characters, both romantic and otherwise, are way too good matches for the new mug shot one.
Speaking of Critical Role characters, I am once again newly in awe of Laura Bailey and her ability to portray them. Arlo Black would be a well enough as a weird girl on her own, but the way she embodies here, right down to the way she holds herself and the tremors that creep into her voice...everyone in Candela Obscura was good, but she was something else.
