I must say, I've been feeling vindicated lately for my keeping my personal website and continuing to post all my fic on it, even as sometimes I've wondered if there's any point to it anymore. I've also really started wishing there was a Critical Role fanfic archive in existence somewhere. The show came into being too late for it, of course, but now there are multiple reasons I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't have everything solely on one website. It's too vulnerable to outsider and insider difficulties both. I've been through enough to understand that we need AO3, but having only it is very much another matter.
Meanwhile, in a week where we are feeling a necessary loss of old content, and a day when even those of us who weren't surprised can't help but be disappointed by the Emmys again, I want to list some of the things about my current fixation that made me happy this week:



We got to see Pretty again! And Deanna fixed his nightclothes for him. That was when I decided this episode had already made itself worth everything.
Reunion moments! Orym knowing to run up and hug the animal if Fearne isn't in sight, because of course that'll be her.
Keyleth is alive! Although I fear that even if they do get her wounds closed up, she'll probably suffer from chronic pain. (We will need to write the fic where she and Percy get high together to deal with it.)
Prism's exit includes making Orym big for a minute. After Liam's emphasized his small size so much, that's just funny.
We're going to find out what in the Hells is going on with the Mighty Nein right now! Though that they're not playing that out until the fall means Bells Hells probably won't see them again. Indeed, between this and Keyleth being in the state she's in, Matt is taking the more powerful heroes off the table, making sure Bells Hells have to be the one to save the world this time.
Also, there are going to be live shows again!! Pity I'll be in London two months too early for this one, but as soon as there's one a reasonable distance from DC I'm totally going.
6-Sided Dive in general. I seriously wondered how they were going to deal with three guest players exiting at once, if maybe they'd even have to hold one or two of them over and do their exit interviewing next month. But of course they crowded them all in and embraced the chaos.
Utkarsh calling out internet assholes, the way perhaps only a guest player could quite get away with.
Liam confirming my longtime headcanon that the Ashari occasionally like to do it outside.
The werewolf soap opera second round making me flash back to the kind of skits we ended up creating in my high school drama class, except this one made me laugh much harder.
Taliesin as host. Actually, Taliesin in general lately; I've been on a kind of Taliesin kick this week. (Anyone know if this is some anniversary of his incarnation back in ancient times or something?) I've come out of these recent episodes probably loving Ashton too much.
