Last night, I came back to my room after eating dinner, and discovered my older computer had switched over to Windows 11 without asking me first. I am not pleased. For one thing, it may kill this poor machine all the faster. For another, I've already found myself uninstalling Copilot twice, and I fear it may not stick, and there's probably a Grammerly lurking somewhere in here where I can't find it yet. (And I tried to follow the instructions to get rid of Recall, but it hasn't been where the guides say it is on either of my computers!) Also, I lost Wordpad, and initially found myself this morning with no means to open any of my writing files! Trying to bully us into shelling out for Office, no doubt. I've since downloaded an app called WordPal which is working so far.
I suppose I may also have to sort all these issues out on the gaming PC as well. I'm still doing the majority of things of this one, and the writing will probably be the last thing I move over.
